About the Olympia Theater at the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts
Built in 1926 as a silent movie palace, Miami’s Olympia Theater at the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts is now a beacon of the South Florida arts community. Today the magnificently restored theater is home to live performances, films, community events, corporate meetings and social affairs. The theater is a cultural centerpiece of a newly revitalized downtown Miami where people live, work, shop and play.
