About the 2012 Red Curtain Series:
The 2012 Red Curtain Series is an inaugural season of performances at the Olympia Theater at the Gusman Center for Performing Arts, sponsored in part by Friends of Gusman, a non-profit organization affiliated with the theater. With the support of the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation and the Downtown Development Authority, Friends of Gusman invited an incredible group of emerging local talent in diverse genres to participate in the Red Curtain Series and make Olympia Theater a new home for their organizations. This partnership aims to grow the capacity of Miami's most promising arts organizations while increasing the vitality and cultural offering of one of Miami's most in-demand districts.
